The journey of Straits Diving & Engineering (SDE) began long before our formal incorporation. Our core dive team first began working together in 2002, building a foundation of trust and technical synergy over fifteen years of hands-on experience. Comprised of veteran commercial divers with extensive expertise in delivering underwater services for both government and commercial sectors, we officially established SDE in 2017 to continue our specialized mission in the marine industry.
Since our official founding in Singapore, we have successfully delivered a wide range of underwater services across countries, Singapore, West Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh and lastly, Mozambique, Africa. Our portfolio is diverse, spanning from underwater inspections and maintenance to new marine construction support and emergency salvage operations. Whether it is the salvage of work barges or the execution of stone revetment and coastal protection projects, our team provides unparalleled support to the marine construction sector.

Charlie Goh is a seasoned technical professional with over 40 years of experience in supervising major government infrastructure projects. Serving as an assistant to Jeremy Tan, he brings extensive expertise in site supervision, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
